The badminton players that traveled to Sherborne were a credit to Canford School, their behaviour and sportsmanship was exemplary and I was proud to be with them. It is a shame we were two players down and I hope the players who missed the fixture for various reasons will see that they missed a real opportunity.

Sherborne were kind enough to lend us a player so there was much juggling of players to ensure as many games as possible were played.

We won the fixture convincingly and there were some tight games and excellent examples of players playing because of their love of an underrated sports.
